A New Jersey woman has counter sued the RIAA claiming they’re using extortion techniques to get settlements before the cases get to court, just like the gangsters were doing. The RIAA knows full and well that most people they sue can’t afford to pay the fine if the case were to go to court, which means they force people to settle instead of fighting.
Will be very interesting to see what comes of this, the RIAA has bullied enough people into submission.
