LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A copy of the romantic comedy "Something's Gotta Give" that was sent to an Oscar voter has surfaced on the Internet, prompting a probe by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Apparently, the screener was leaked by Carmine Caridi, 69. My guess is that he’s got some grandchild that’s into computers and movies. The technology for storing information in images without any visual artifacts has been available for quite some time. Finally the MPAA is catching on.
