Taking a page from its U.S. counterpart's playbook, Canadian Recording 
Industry Association president Brian Robertson says the CRIA plans to start 
suing Canadian users of file-sharing networks.

The CRIA (Canadian version of the RIAA) is preparing a number of lawsuits against Canadians who have been sharing files on the P2P networks. Canadians who only download are still in the clear, as that’s protected by the copyright levy they pay whenever they buy tapes, cd’s, recording devices and even players with internal memory.
