Nullsoft has finally released Winamp 5.0, containing the playback engine from the 2.x series, and the gui from the 3.x series. It’s still free, but you’ll have to pay $14.95 if you want the Pro version which has CD ripping and MP3 encoding as well as playback.
If you’re still using the horrible Winamp 3, go get it so you can connect to IceCast2 streams again. It works just dandy with MrsFudges Radio, so I’m happy.
