A Japanese peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing network which claimed to keep user identities untraceable has failed to work--two users in Japan have been arrested.

One man (41) shared the movie “A Beautiful Mind”, and the other one (19) shared the game “Super Mario Advance”. This nettwork (Winny) is supposedly based on FreeNet, but according to the creator of FreeNet, Ian Clarke, there is no way they used all the privacy features which are available in regular FreeNet.
