EMI, Universal Music, and several others are suing Napster as usual, for $17 billion, claiming it was responsible for a 9 percent drop in global music sales.
EMI and Universal Music are already suing Himmer Winblad Venture Partners for prolonging the life of Napster with their $13 million investment in 2000.
I guess the US decline in the economy has nothing to do with it. It’s all due to piracy. Always has been, always will be.

I tought Napster was down for 2 years ago…
Is it still up? =)
Thanks Fudge!

They’ve (unsucsessfully) tried to relaunch as a pay 2 play service a couple of times, changed owner several times, and still they’re getting sued. Poor people.
