The U.S. court has finally ruled in the RIAA vs. Verizon case where the RIAA demands that Verizon needs to disclose the personal details and help track down some of it’s subscribers that have been trading copyrighted material via peer2peer networks.

 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government sided with the recording 
industry in its dispute with Verizon Communications Inc. on Friday, saying a 
digital-copyright law invoked by record labels to track down Internet song-swappers
did not violate the U.S. Constitution.
