We were down some hours today, unfortunately. Not much I could do about it, as the ‘powersupply’ for the entire block caught fire and had to be replaced. Quite a scary thing to wake up, wonder why there’s no power in the apartment, fiddle with the fuses, then finally look out the window and see a huge fire engine just outside and smoke coming out of a room just across the street.
Since we were without power for some hours, and it’s pretty darn cold in Norway at the moment, I spent most of the day in bed under the blanket reading a book with what little sunlight we get these days. My only source of heat for these hours was our cat, which was most welcome to join me under the blanket today.
